  12. Hi all,

  14.     Just a few days ago, I aquired a _very_ old A2000 second hand
  15. from a friend of a friend, with a shitload of software. Currently, it
  16. has in it 1mb Mem, 3 floppy (3.5) and 1 5.25 but no HD. Has a 286
  17. bridgeboard as well...

  19. Being new to the Amiga, the thing seemed awful slow to me - but I thought
  20. a2000s weret the top of the range Amigas. Now after taking a quick peek
  21. in the newgroups I see that that is _not_ the case.

  23. What I really want to know is: What, right now, is the minimum level system
  24. I should have got?

  26. Do I have a hope of upgrading it, or did I waste my money?

  28. Where can Amiga products be found these days, since no major software dealers
  29. that I have seen carry _any_ amiga stuff these days.

  31. I know this is a tall order, but after reading a lot of stuff in here 
  32. I'm starting to feel I got ripped off and should be looking for better
  33. h'ware if I want to continue in the amiga scene (and I am seriously
  34. considering it, since I know its a great machine still).
